Alyson Michalka or Aly, is popularly known as one-half of the musical duo Aly & AJ with Amanda Joy "AJ" Michalka, her younger sister. Aly was first recognized for her role as Keely Teslow in Disney’s Phil of the Future. The 18-year old singer-actress also appeared in Cow Belles, a Disney Channel Original Movie, with her sister and in Now You See It... where she played Allyson Miller, an ambitious television producer. Aly and AJ released their first album, Into the Rush, in 2005. This year, their second album, Insomniac was released and its carrier single, “Potential Break-Up Song” topped the charts.
