Avril Lavigne was born on September 27, 1984, in Belleville, Ontario. At age 17, Avril released her debut album Let Go in June 2002 and took the world by storm selling over 13 million records worldwide. The punk-rock fashion style of Avril's quickly caught on and many fans started wearing ties as seen in the music video “Complicated”. Two years later, Avril's second album Under My Skin was released which featured a more mature, feminine side of her. Although not as big of a success as her first album, the album's singles placed number one on many music charts across the globe. Today, Avril Lavigne lives with husband Deryck Whibley in their California mansion.
