Her debut album, Some Hearts, was certified quintuple platinum, and is the fastest selling debut country album in Nielsen SoundScan history.[1] It is also the top selling debut album of any Idol winner or contestant. Underwood is the first American Idol winner to complete a season sweep of all three major music awards, including one American Music Award, eight Billboard Music Awards, and three Grammy Awards (including Best New Artist).
