Charlize Theron, born on August 7, 1975, is a fashion model turned actress by profession. This South African actress became the pride and role model for her country after she had won the prestigious Academy Award for her notable role in her movie ‘Monster’ in 2004.
Theron’s modeling career began after she had won a local modeling competition. She was just 16 years old then and as part of her job, Theron has to travel all the way to Italy to do modeling projects that lasted for a year. She had also appeared in a 1999 issue of the men’s magazine Playboy wherein she had nude photo shoots.
Noting her fame as an actress, Theron won plenty of awards for her acting in the movie ‘Monster.’ She was granted the award as Best Actress at the Oscars in February 2004. And she also got awards from the SAG Award and as well as the Golden Globe Awards.
