She started as a back-up dancer for the prominent singer Janet Jackson and made her appearance in the music video of "That’s the Way Love Goes" in 1993. She hit the big screen in 1995 in the movies Drama, Weasley Snipes and Money Train. Among her popular movies were Selena, The Cell and the Unfinished Life to name few.
