Karolina Kurkova, the Long-haired blonde model for Victoria's Secret was born on February 28, 1984 in Decin, Czechoslovakia. Her father Josef Kurka was a star basketball player. This green eyed, 5'10" blonde got her first modelling contract from Miuccia Prada, the designer behind the famous brand, Prada, which ultimately proved to be the beginning of a stellar career. Her hard work as a 15-year-old model breed into a meeting with some Vogue editors in New York in September 7th, 1999. The team were immediately impressed and then she began to slowly groom herself for success.
