Marilyn Monroe was born on June 1, 1926 is best known for her sex appeal and the controversy surrounding her during her short lifetime. Marilyn was an actress that has played dramatic roles but is best known for her more comedic and humorous roles in movie films. Marilyn has married three different times: first to James Dougherty, second to Joe DiMaggio, and last to Arthur Miller. There were also rumors that Marilyn was having an affair with President John F. Kennedy at the time, although those rumors were never confirmed. On August 5, 1962, Marilyn was found dead on her bed, apparently overdosed on sleeping pills.
