Monica Bellucci was born on September 30, 1968 in Citta di Castello, Perugia, Italy. Before taking up her modeling career she was previously pursuing a career as a lawyer. In 1988, Monica moved to one of Europe's fashion centers - Milan. Her modeling career got a push when she sign up with the Elite Model Management there. By 1989, she was already becoming a sought-after model in Paris and across Atlantic. Monica made her film debut in "Vita coi figli and Briganti". In English movies, her debut role was that of Dracula's Bride in 1992's Bram Stoker's "Dracula". In 1996, her role in "L'Appartement" particularly gained her a lot of acting accolades. Her yet another grand success was her role in the Italian film, Melena in 2000. Some of her other great movies are The Matrix Reloaded, The Matrix Revolutions and The Passion of the Christ.
