Naomi Watts was born on September 28, 1968 in Shoreham, England, UK but raised in Australia. Watts made he debut in 1986 in "For Love Alone". Though she did many roles in movies like John Duigan's Flirting (1991), Wide Sargasso Sea (1992), Matinee, and Misconduct, her first breakthrough success comes with her role in "Mulholland Drive". Though it didn't exactly set box office records, her performance in 'Mulholland Drive' earned her numerous accolades and critics' awards. She won the National Society of Film Critics Award as Best Actress and the National Board of Review award as Breakthrough Performance of the year. Her biggest success came in 2002, when she starred in the English language remake of the Japanese horror film, The Ring which was the biggest box office hits of that year. Watts was also nominated for the "Academy Award for Best Actress" for her role in '21 Grams'. Other best movies of Watts include The Ring Two and 2005's "King Kong" which grossed more than $400 million worldwide.
