Scarlett Johansson was born on November 22, 1984 in New York, New York, USA. Her father is a building contractor in New York while mother stays in Los Angeles to look after her interests. She has a twin brother, an elder brother and sister in her family. She started out her acting career when she was only eight. Her first movie was "North" and it was released in 1994. In 1997, she was nominated as Best Actress by the Independent Spirit Awards for her role as Manny in "Manny & Lo". Some of her best movies include Home Alone 3 (1997), If Lucy Fell (1996), Just Cause (1995), etc which got her worldwide recognition. After that, she appeared in many movies like Ghost World, Lost In Translation, Match Point, The Island among others.
