Elsa Benitez, who was born in Sonora Mexico, is an international supermodel. She first had her modeling opportunity after garnering the top rank in an international model search (1995) in Costa Rica. After that big win, opportunities began to open up for her. She started her modeling career in her home town Mexico and then offers came to her all the way from the United States and from Europe.
This 5'11" supermodel has appeared on the cover pages of fashion magazines such as Glamour, ELLE, Harper's Bazaar, Marie Claire, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, and Mademoiselle. She also became a three-time cover girl for the Vogue Magazine Italian edition in 1996.
Benitez is also known for her advertisement projects for many companies like Victoria's Secret, Dolce & Gabbana, Oscar de la Renta, Nine West and Jones New York, and Valentino. In 1999, she had a photo shoot for the Pirelli Calendar, 'Women Through the Decades.' |
